Palliative Care

When a patient faces a life-altering illness or disease, symptoms and pain can build slowly over time or cause sudden distress, making daily living a struggle. Metropolitan Jewish Palliative Care teams are here to relieve physical and emotional pain, so that patients and their families can find joy in daily interactions again
Expanding upon traditional medical treatments, Metropolitan Jewish Palliative Care endeavors to prevent and relieve suffering in an effort to support the best possible quality of life for patients and their families – regardless of what stage the disease is in. Palliative care addresses the patient’s physical, psychological, social and spiritual well-being.
