MJHS Foundation leads the charitable health care efforts of MJHS by raising the funds necessary to ensure the continuation of high-quality, compassionate programs MJHS provides that are not fully covered by insurance. Some of these programs include: pastoral care for patients at the end of life, music therapy for patients with dementia, support for caregivers and much more.
Our vision is that MJHS will continue to provide the highest level of care to people of all ages and income levels, regardless of race, culture, religion or ability to pay.
History of MJHS
For 110 years…. MJHS has been providing care for the Greater New York Area. Is all began in 1907 with Four Brooklyn Ladies, a labor of love and three very important core values; compassion, dignity and respect.
With the help of charitable support, MJHS has become one of the most innovation health care systems in the region, providing care whenever and wherever it is needed. Whether its nursing care at home, rehab after surgery or illness, long term care at our Menorah Center, support for an advanced illness or a health plan, we have been there.
These extraordinary health care efforts would not be possible without continued support of our foundation from our generous donors, partners and employees.
